 A Blast from the Past  

Below is a picture of Louise LeRoy she is my Grandmother. She passed in the end of the 1960's the exact date I am not sure of.  The picture appears to be a photo of an old photo. I don't know where I got this from and I don't know where she or what she appears to be doing.

Watering her rose garden, I don't remember much about her now just a few flashes of a house that I did not like to be in long. I spent most of my time out doors in the yard. I met an Angel outside, when I was small. She sort of hovered above me her name was Lilian LeRoy, she was the daughter of Louise LeRoy. I don't no exactly she said but to this day but I believe it.  A year or maybe more later , I went to visit her grave with my Grandfather, it was across the street ( completely unknown by me at the time ) and in the left hand most corner of the cemetery. There was actually two cemeteries across from their house completely full of stones and statues of the fallen heroes of wars before this time of the late 50's and early 60's. 

Many of you may say that their are no spirits but we know that is just denial of the spirit world. 

 2023 comes in like a blast.

The new year is here again with all of its hope and glory.  2022 brought me to Amsterdam, had a great time wondering all over the city going to museums and coffee shops, and drinking at the outside cafes long the way. I saw my old friend Bjorn and his family doing well in their new house in Issjelstein.  I will post some pictures of 2022 and some of the travels soon. 

Clouds through the screen

 

Watching the clouds roll through the soft blue sky.  listening to old Neal telling stories about seeing Judy Garland below the stage in a red dress carrying music sheets, he says you don't need to believe me but I did. It's a quiet day in recovery, doing laundry and drinking coffee waiting for the one I love. The screen shot is a little weird but I like it. Been a tough month, but one that helped me find some direction got a chance to settle down get some peace of mind.

ALL THE NOISE

 

The advantages of multi-media in the post industrial age, of high speed communication and physical confinement of the new pandemic age, I find myself listening to background political babble speak for the share of air time conversation of like group thought. Wavelengths of opposing thoughts. The virtual worlds of media projecting arbitrary views claiming truth flagged with party loyal behavior while it's real world subjects are cemented in situational life and death reality in the physical world. 

I have associated these to the propaganda machines of the cold war. Both sides claiming victory and superiority, a better way for society to exist. In some cases claiming the other side is involved in the new cold war propaganda machines and funded by cold war opposition. 

It is no wonder why the Justice System seems be the Oracle of wisdom and calm. While science and math is debated over analysis of opposing data. 

The new premise of alternate facts is associated to the new virtual reality group speak that is communicated even in the highest of political offices, a detachment from the physical reality of the poor.
